Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before purchasing or using WP Backup Nota (“the Plugin”, “our plugin”). By purchasing a license or installing the plugin you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

“We”, “us”, “our” refers to WP Backup Nota, operated at wp-nota.com. “You”, “your” refers to the individual or entity purchasing or using the plugin. “License” refers to the right to use the plugin granted upon purchase. “Site” refers to a WordPress installation where the plugin is activated.

2. License Grant

Upon purchase of a valid license, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the plugin on the number of sites permitted by your plan:

  • Personal: 1 WordPress site
  • Pro: Up to 5 WordPress sites
  • Agency: Unlimited WordPress sites

The license is valid for one year from the date of purchase. After expiry, you may continue using the version of the plugin installed at expiry, but you will no longer receive updates, new features, or support.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or transfer the plugin or your license key to any third party
  • Use the plugin on more sites than permitted by your license plan
  • Modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the plugin for redistribution
  • Use the plugin for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Share your license key publicly or allow unauthorized use of your license

4. Payment and Billing

All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) and are exclusive of applicable taxes. Payment is processed securely through our payment provider. Licenses are billed annually. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time; price changes will not affect your current billing period.

5. Free Trial & Refund Policy

Every plan includes a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial. Your card is only charged after the trial period ends and you choose to continue. You may cancel at any time during the trial at no cost.

After the trial period, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds on paid licenses. If you experience a technical issue preventing the plugin from working, contact us at support@wp-nota.com and we will work to resolve it.

6. Updates and Support

During your active license period, you are entitled to:

  • All plugin updates released during the license period
  • Email support at support@wp-nota.com
  • Access to documentation and knowledge base

We aim to respond to support requests within 24 business hours. We do not guarantee support for expired licenses.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLUGIN IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLUGIN WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT BACKUP SOFTWARE IS SUPPLEMENTARY TO, NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR, PROPER SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION PRACTICES. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING THAT YOUR BACKUPS ARE COMPLETE AND RESTORABLE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR LOSS OF BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLUGIN OR INABILITY TO USE IT, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE LICENSE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Data and Privacy

WP Backup Nota does not collect any data from your WordPress site. The plugin operates entirely within your server environment. When you connect to third-party cloud storage services (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.), you are subject to those services’ terms and privacy policies. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle personal data collected through this website (wp-nota.com) and purchases.

10. Third-Party Services

The plugin integrates with third-party cloud storage services. We are not responsible for the availability, reliability, or pricing of these third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms of service.

11. Intellectual Property

The plugin, including its source code, design, documentation, and all related materials, is the intellectual property of WP Backup Nota and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you beyond the license explicitly granted herein.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the plugin and delete all copies in your possession. We may also terminate or modify the plugin or any of its features at any time without notice.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the jurisdiction where we operate.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the plugin after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
